Easter Mahotsav organized on Sunday 16 April, 2017 at BSSS College ground. Nearly, 3000 people belong to Christians, Hindus and many other religions came together to celebrate Easter Mahotsav. On this occasion Archbishop Most Rev. All those who encountered the Resurrected Lord will become to witness to all that he taught, did and proclaimed. Easter is not a one day celebration but an eternal commemoration of Christ love.

Rev Pastor Biju Varghese said that in the present context there is lot of violence against the believers of Christ.  He asked all the believers to encounter the recent Lord in day to day life as the death is not an end but a beginning towards new life.

The Programme began with a prayer by Rev. Sameer Khimla, CNI followed by Lighting the Lamp. Fr. Johney P J welcomed all the dignitaries and asked the people to  organize the traditional Mahotsav in the future too. There was a welcome dance by St. Francis Co-Ed School, Barrai. The main characters of the drama were the brothers from SVD Vidhya Bhavan.

No matter how dark it looks, how long it’s been, how many people pushed you down, if you will stay in faith, God will always take you from Friday to Sunday and complete what he started in you.

The different religious leaders, educationists and well renowned personalities were present for the Mahotsav. It was a colourful and fun filled evening for all the families, well wishers and friends. The entire event got over at 10.30 pm with benediction by Pr. C.P. Singh.
