Bhopal Archdiocese felicitated Meritorious Students of Class X and XII

The Archdiocese of Bhopal organized a career guidance seminar and the "Khoob Padho Aage Bado" Award ceremony on Sunday at the St. Joseph Co-ed auditorium in Arera Colony. This initiative by the Archdiocese was aimed at recognizing and honoring the achievements of the meritorious students within the community.

Before the award ceremony, Dr. Jaya Peter conducted a session on career guidance. Drawing from her extensive experience as a Scientist, Educationist, and Social Worker, she provided valuable insights and advice on the best career options for students, helping them to navigate their future paths with confidence and clarity. With 22 years of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Peter has represented India at various international conferences in London, Austria, Switzerland, California, Germany, and Rome.  

Fr. Alfred D’Souza, the PRO, also addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of skill development and success in life. He motivated the students to set clear goals and work diligently to achieve them.

Later, the Chief Guest, Dr. A. A. S. Durairaj SVD, Archbishop of Bhopal, awarded the prizes to outstanding students and encouraged them to work hard and strive for excellence. He also highlighted the critical role of parents in nurturing their children’s success, calling them partners in fostering excellence. In his speech, Archbishop Dr. Durairaj offered important tips for a bright future, congratulated the awardees, and praised the efforts of parents and the school management committee for their contributions to the students' success.

The students who were awarded included: Class 10 (CBSE): Sarah Vibha Toppo, Lejice Scaria, and Aryan Paul Tirkey. Class 12 (CBSE): Irene Reji, Susan Jose, and Asmita Ekka. Class 10 (ICSE): Abigail Maria, Dhruv, and Monica Minj. Class 12 (ICSE): Arpit Noel. Fr. Francis Jakkula, the Youth Director, and Fr. Ronald Vaughan, the Principal were also present at the event, along with many students and their parents.
