Bishops of Nine dioceses were
present for the Press Conference:

The Council of Bishops of M.P. came
together on 7th August at Pastoral centre to discuss on various
issues pertaining to the Catholic Church in Madhya Pradesh and it came to an
end on 9th August at 1 pm with lunch.
During the meeting the Council of
Religious India (CRI) met all the bishops and shed their concerns and
suggestions to collaborate and work in a better way so that the purpose and the
goal of the Church would be met. On the last day the directors of different
commissions in Madhya Pradesh (Women, Laity, Family, Youth, Communication,
Bible, Ecumenism and Dialogue, Education, Public Relations, Catechetical and
proclamation etc..) presented their annual report followed by the challenges
and constraints they face in the commissions.
A press meet was called by The
Council of Bishop of M.P. (CBMP) on 9 August at 12.30 pm to interact with media persons on various currents issues
affecting the Church and its community.
