Bhojpuri Ekta Manch honours Archbishop Leo Cornelio
The
delegation of Bhojpuri Ekta Manch under the leadership of Kunwar Prasad met
Archbishop Leo Cornelio at his residence on 5th March 2018 at 5 pm and honoured Archbishop by presenting a memento.
Apart from President Kunwar Prasad following people were present in the
delegation: Abhiranjan Kumar, Radha Mahato, Anuradha Mahato, Durba Devi, Bina
Gautam, Madan Mohan, Amrin Hashmi, Arpit Gupta, Nitin Dev, Anil Likhar etc. In
this program PRO Fr. Maria Stephen, Fr. Shaji and PRO staff were also present.
The
President Kunwar Prasad of the Bhojpuri Ekta Manch said in his address that - our organization
is extremely influenced by the dedicated works and personality of Archbishop.
He attends the festival of all religions and sends greetings without fail. He conveys
the good example of secularism and extends greetings to the religious leaders
of different religions by visiting them in their festivals and he is the true
model of modern secularism and therefore we are proud to honour the Archbishop
of Bhopal. He reminded the crowd about the 'Ambassador of Peace' award - 2015
received by Archbishop. Most Rev. Leo Cornelio is a human, lover of nature,
compassionate, thoughtful and respectable person everywhere, he added.
The
Bhojpuri Ekta Manch, Bhopal has been working to enhance its peace and harmony
with all the citizens of the society besides different religions. They strive
to engage all the religions in the social wellbeing activities. Archbishop thanked Bhojpuri Ekta Manch for the
appreciation and honour they showered. He invited likeminded organizations to
come together in one platform to work for the down trodden and the needy of the
society.

the PRO appreciated the efforts made by Bhojpuri Ekta Manch to recognise the
‘Ambassador of Peace’ towards the promotion of modern and ideal India with all
its flavours.
