Archdiocese of Bhopal celebrated
Universal Brotherhood
Archdiocese of Bhopal celebrated the symbolic love and
universal brotherhood with the students of different schools in the city on
Friday at St. Joseph’s Co-ed School, Arera Colony, Bhopal.
Speaking on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan Archbishop asked
the students to change the mindsets of gender disparity and collaborate with
each other to live as sisters and brothers of one family to bring all round
development of our country. Explaining
the history of Raksha Bandhan Archbishop reminded the students that this
festival has gone beyond ages, relatives, caste and religion to build a better
world as the world becomes suspicious on the relationship with each other.
On this auspicious occasion Fr. Maria Stephen, the PRO of MP
Catholic Church, congratulated the citizens of the country for the efforts to
live brotherhood and he expressed the hope that these efforts will be continued
irrespective of divisive forces in the country.
Mr. Sudhir, the Co-ordinator thanked all the students from
St. Mary’s Convent School, Tulsi Nagar, St. Theresa’s Girls School, Piplani,
St. Joseph’s Co-Ed School, Arera Colony, teachers, Fr. Ronald M. Vaughan,
principal of St. Joseph Co-ed and PR Office team members&Fr. Alfred D’Souza,
Sunil, Sonia and Sanjana. The celebration ended with national anthem.
